With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources spanning consulting, retail, and the NDIS sector, I've built my career on a simple belief:

Businesses thrive when their people do.

That principle has guided every role I've held, every team I've led, and every business I've built.

 

For nine years, I owned and operated an NDIS Support Coordination and Plan Management company, growing it into an organisation that employed more than 100 staff across its lifetime.

Running that business taught me what HR theory alone never could. I learned how to recruit, develop, and retain people through real growth, real challenges, and real change. I led the company through three external NDIS audits for registration, achieving zero non-conformities across both Verification and Certification audits.

 

It's a result I'm genuinely proud of, and one that reflects the systems, culture,and discipline we built from the ground up.

My qualifications reflect a deliberate blend of the practical and the human. Alongside formal qualifications in Management, I'm an Accredited Trainer and Assessor with a 95% satisfaction score from the people I've trained, a qualified Coach, and trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I'm also a Professional Member of the Australian HR Institute (MAHRI).

 

Together, these disciplines shape how I work with leaders and teams, balancing structure and strategy with the communication, behaviour, and mindset skills that bring real change to life.

Having personally run end-to-end recruitment across a business of more than 100 employees, I know what works and what wastes time and money.

 

Rather than delivering recruitment for clients, I advise business owners on how to do it effectively themselves, from defining the right role and writing job ads that attract the right people, to interviewing with confidence and onboarding in a way that sets new starters up to stay.

 

What sets my approach apart is that I'm a people leader first and a strategist second, though I bring both to every engagement. I genuinely value the people I work with, lead with respect, and think strategically about how HR can drive business outcomes rather than just tick compliance boxes.
